Sugar Coated Virginia Peanuts

1 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup water
2 cups Royal Oak Peanuts Raw Virginia Peanuts with the skins on


(1) Preheat your oven to 300 degrees

(2) In a heavy sauce pan, dissolve the sugar in the water over medium heat.

(3) Add the raw peanuts stir constantly until all of the water is gone and the peanuts are well coated.

(4) Spread the peanuts out onto an ungreased baking sheet or shallow baking pan.

(5) Bake for 30 minutes. stirring occassionally to prevent burning.
