Spiced Virginia Peanuts


1 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp chili powder
2 tsp ground cumin
2 tsp sugar
1 tsp curry powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp cayenne powder
2 1/2 cups Roasted-In-The-Shell Virginia Peanuts


(1) Preheat oven to 300 degrees F

(2) Heat olive oil in large, heavy skillet over medium heat

(3) Add all ingredients, except the peanuts and stir until fragrant (about 30 seconds)

(4) Add peanuts and stir until well coated (about 2 minutes)

(5) Transfer the peanuts to a large baking sheet and place in the oven for approximately 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Peanuts should be golden brown and nearly dry.

Move the peanuts to paper towels to drain. Let cool and store in an airtight container at room temperature.
